Every charter includes a USCG-licensed captain with extensive New York Harbor experience. Captain Martin, our founder, captains many charters, but availability varies by date. All our captains are skilled in landmark commentary, photo positioning, and creating a memorable, stress-free experience.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekdays: 1-2 weeks. Weekends/sunset: 3-4 weeks. Special occasions (proposals, anniversaries): 4-6 weeks. Peak season (June-September): 1-2 months. Book early for best availability, especially for sunset departures and summer weekends.

Sailing Vessel SAGA

She’s called SAGA, named after the Nordic goddess who spins tales and drinks merrily by the water. As sailors, we’re partial to a strong drink and a good story. Our namesake’s got one of the best tales around.

Saga’s legend starts like a Disney movie gone rogue. Born into a family that treated her cruelly as a servant, she escaped — not with a handsome prince — but with a troupe of traveling entertainers who schooled her in the fine arts of lying, cheating, and stealing. She thrived, until even they found her too ruthless. Cast out, she wandered alone, succumbing to “Dwarven Dragon’s Disease,” a condition as horrific as it sounds: scales, venomous words, and spit that melts metal. She saved herself by returning her stolen goods and humbling herself as a freak show performer.

Once she regained her humanity, Saga devoted her days to sharing inspiring stories that lift up the soul. Need a prophecy or a bit of history resurrected? Look for her by the river, drinking and trading stories with the Nordic god, Odin.
